Going Away Party/Dinner

We will have a going away party/dinner for Hannah and Hunter on Sunday, July 12 following the Sunday morning service

Reminder

July is our month to spend our Sunday School hour having church at Ocean Trail Convalescent Center.
The services will begin promptly at 9:45 and end around 10:30. Contact Dan Turner for needs/information.

Great Commission Sunday

Great Commission Sunday is more than an annual tradition - it's a celebration of what God is accomplishing through the worldwide work of The Alliance. The practice of giving financially to build Christ's Kingdom has long been an Alliance distinctive from the very beginning. Great Commission Sunday is an opportunity for churches to express their commitment to reaching lost people with a gift to Alliance Great Commission Ministries.

Easter Party!

Join us for an Easter Party this Saturday, April 11th from 2:00-4:00 pm at the church! Celebrate Jesus' resurrection together! Easter egg hunt, games, snacks, and a "Moment to Remember". Recommend wearing "playclothes" because some of the games are messy. Set-up begins at 12:30 pm for those who are available to help out.

Baby Shower!

There will be a Baby Shower this Saturday for Myriam Conley Bulich's baby, Cara.
The Shower is this Saturday from 2:00 - 4:00pm at Cape Fear Alliance Church in the Narthex.
Set up will begin at 1:00 pm if anyone is available to come help set up and decorate. Volunteers are needed.
Finger foods will be served if you would like to bring something to share. Please tell Christy what you plan to bring.
The shower is being thrown by Christy's Aunt Diana and Christy is assisting her.

WORK DAY

Saturday (Feb. 28) @ 10:00am we are having a work day.

There will be jobs for everyone who wants to come.

So if you know anything about painting, washing windows, repairing lawn mowers, plumbing, raking, drywall patching, changing lightbulbs or even moral supporting, ect... you can come out and help.

The main projects are painting the hallway and fixing some plumbing.
Maybe we can put our money together to order some pizza or something for lunch.

Party at the Stack House House!!!

Ms. Terry sent out the following email. I don't have my phone so I can't ask if it's okay to post this. But I will anyway. -Daniel

If you're looking for something to do tomorrow night, come by and see us!

If it's not windy, we'll have a bonfire going (bring your lawnchairs!) and games for everyone - bring your favorite. I hope to snag a few Scrabble players!

Party starts at 9pm - give or take an hour or two!

Carolina Beach "Field Trip"

Check out a few photos from our church "Field Trip" to the installation service at Carolina Beach. We had a great time! A group of us traveled over to Carolina Beach by ferry. It was freezing! We didn't get pics of everyone because some of the less adventurous (or wisest) chose to stay in their vehicles. It was also a great opportunity to meet members of our "sister church" in Carolina Beach. Thanks for inviting us, Carolina Beach Alliance! We pray we can return the favor soon. The return trip on the ferry was at night and so beautiful being on the Cape Fear River under the starry night sky. It was definately a fun adventure!

Christmas Decorating...

Some of us are getting together this Friday at 3:15 (after school) to start a little Christmas Decorating at the Church! Everyone welcome. Hope to see you then!

Carolina Beach Installation Service

There will be an installation service for Carolina Beach's new pastor Andrew Pasidag on Sunday (Nov. 23) at 4:00 pm. Some of us are thinking about car pooling.
